We know for many that Thanksgiving may have been/looked a little different this year, but we hope that everyone had a great weekend. For us this year, we took a much need mini vacation. The last few days away have allowed us time to reconnect with each other and destress just a little. We celebrated Meagan's Birthday and a very Happy Thanksgiving at Ferris Provincial Park in Campbellford. The fall colours this year were truly spectacular, in their golden yellows and glowing oranges. Can you believed that we cooked a full thanksgiving dinner over an open fire? Nor can we! Wish I had thought to get a picture. Sunday was a glorious day that we spent road tripping around the Campbellford and Stirling area. Getting lost and doing a few u-turns so I could get just the right photo. Other days we spent sitting around the fire (which we started at breakfast to enjoy with our coffees) and knitting or stitching in the afternoons when we weren't hiking. Between the three us we believe that we may have hike the whole perimeter of the park. We arrived home late Tuesday and will spend the next couple day answering and returning calls/emails. -Happy Thanksgiving Kim and Meagan
