Floral Geometry - Wildflower Stitching - Pattern
I loved roaming the woods and exploring shapes and designs in nature as a child, and still do
today. There is a symmetry and balance within nature when one starts looking. I played with
shape and color to create a piece that is both restful and exploratory at the same time, kind of
like a walk in the woods or along a seashore. It also reminds me of a piece of traditional tilework
or ornamental design. The design shows how nature and geometry play together in perfect
harmony.
